The April 20098 MYPG Update is here. Please go through carefully.
1. MYPG 3 (June 4th, 2009) Promotion Campaign
The following are ready for mass distribution on your blogs and websites...

2. Johor Bharu LYPG launched on the 4th of April
Praise the Lord! This historic 7th LYPG was launched in the first week of April, and they aim to run a monthly prayer meeting for the present moment before expanding. 3. MYPG Worship Album Calling for Submissions
This is an initiative to collect the songs of a generation calling on the name of the Lord for revival and renewal. Songs of deep and true intimacy, fellowship and love. Please see the MYPG blog for latest updates. There is also a short promo video that Ryan has completed and a logo/icon for you to attach on your blogs (and/or your friends blogs) to spread the word. : )

4. FWP 2 is on, in Glory Place, Seremban (7th-9th June)
The FWP stands for 'Fast.Wait.Pray' and it is a 'Leader's Retreat' of sorts, where leaders of all LYPGs (2 representatives per LYPG at least) and MYPG leaders/advisors converge to fast, wait and pray for evaluation and forward direction of MYPG. This year, to facilitate faster entry into high level intercessory sessions, we are advising the following:
a) Do a 'media' fast (everything from movies, Facebook/Friendster, computer games, to MSN, TV shows, etc)
b) Go on a 3 meal fast beginning from June 1st all the way to 8th, where we break fast after prayer on the last night (we call it "The Night of Nights"). See website of Glory Place (and pics) here: http://www.gloryplaceprayercentre.org/
The FWP is also a place to discuss in various levels, strengthen bonds of friendship and present latest developments and plans for group sanction for the way ahead. In Lord of the Rings terminology, it is likened to the Council @ Rivendell.
To 'sign up', you need to send an email to Paulus Lee (email: pauluspingu89@gmail.com) telling him in the subject line "FWP2: I'm in!" He will proceed to email you with further details on meeting time, place, cost, etc.
5. LYPG Intro Videos x 7
As part of the Promo Campaign for MYPG 3 [and MYPG as a whole], we are requesting all LYPGs to create a 1 minute introduction video of their LYPGs, to be hosted on the main MYPG Youtube Channel. You can do it before or after MYPG 3, but not beyond July!
Things to include in your intro vids are:
a) Introduce your leaders! (eg. Who are the main 'facilitators', adult advisors, young upcoming leaders, etc)
b) Tell us what you do at your LYPGs (ie. different LYPGs are run differently. All of us would like to know how you conduct yours and maybe we can all learn from one another)
c) Send a special greeting to all youths in Malaysia (you can shout, scream, say anything. :)
6. Some LYPG prayer items
To give everyone more ideas on what you can pray for in your LYPGs, here is a list of possible things you can consider praying/doing:
i) Pray in the Spirit for 20-30 minutes each session
ii) Pray/Share about an area/aspect of Mission (or ThePlan) for 10 mins
iii) Short Devotional sharing for 10 mins
iv) Pray for a persecuted country for 10 mins
v) Group Thanksgiving sharing for 15 mins (only if the group is smaller than 15 people)
vi) Pray for the Malays for 10 mins
7. MYPG + ThePlan09
ThePlan09 is the first ever Malaysian Youth Missions Conference that combines most (if not all) existing mission agencies into one super-duper camp. The organizers hope to see the birth of a local Youth Missions Movement. This year, the organizing committee plan to have it in Melaka, and it is from Sept 20-23rd. For those who don't know, the 3rd stage/level of MYPG is 'Mission Mobilization' and therefore MYPG will always have a strong desire to see young people equipped, trained and sent out for missions, whether long term or short term. (But of course there is also such a thing as vocational calling...) But... please find attached with this email the poster and little Logo of ThePlan09 to put on your blogs also. We will be posting it up in the main MYPG Blog.

MYPG 4 will be organized (at the camp) on one of the nights. It will be awesome.
